Drawing inspiration from innovative brands like Tesla, the goal was to create a sleek and modern identity that would stand out in the competitive cannabis market. The design process began with the selection of the Venera 700 typeface, chosen for its bold, geometric, and tech-forward style. To further personalize the logo, the "A" in *FLARE* was transformed into a flame-shaped symbol, representing energy and potency. This flame design was also developed as a standalone brand mark, providing a versatile visual element for use across various branding materials.
Incorporating the client’s alma mater colors—University of Florida’s blue and orange—added a personal touch while reinforcing brand consistency. To differentiate product lines, strain-specific colors were introduced: dark blue for Indica, bright red for Sativa, yellow for Hybrid, and grey for CBD. The packaging design complemented the futuristic aesthetic with a minimalist approach, featuring pops of silver metallic accents to emphasize a premium, high-tech feel. This cohesive and innovative brand identity aligns with Flare Concentrates’ bold, modern vision, positioning the company as a top-tier choice in the cannabis industry.
